French Provincial King & Queen Chairs
These French Provincial King and Queen chairs were a lucky find next to a residential dumpster. While structurally in great shape, the original caned backs were badly damaged, and the seat cushions were practically non-existent.
I stripped off the cane back and replaced the cushion padding, covering both with an abstract fabric remnant from a local reuse center. I painted the frame a cool, slate blue to match the upholstery. Now, these chairs have been restored to their formal, but more stylish, glory.
