Vintage Red Knitting Stand
This vintage sewing stand was found at a local estate sale, and I customized this piece for a knitter. The original wood was too dark for the client's taste, so the outside of the stand was painted with a bright semi-gloss white. To match her decor, red doors were added for a pop of color. Plus, decorative stencils were painted on the two ends and inside the doors to add a little flair. Now, the little red doors swing open to reveal trays full of needles and yarn.
