Arts & Crafts Rocking Chair
This solid wood rocking chair had been discarded and was without any form of a seat. The piece was sanded and re-stained a rich, dark brown, and a seat was built with new foam and padding. A set of parents purchased this chair for their son and expectant daughter-in-law, allowing the young couple to customize the fabric for their nursery. The couple chose a large flower and bird print on a navy background to complement the rocker's dark wood. Now, the couple has a stylish and comfortable place to rest once their new baby arrives.
