Birdie Telephone Table
This telephone table was a hotly contested item when it was found at a local estate sale. Being "customize" piece, it was refinished to fit into the client's existing living room. Many coats of primer and a bright semi-gloss white paint were applied to cover the wood. The thin seat and cheap plywood surface were replaced by an extended bench with new foam, batting, and an adorable birdie fabric. Two additional birdies were added to the table top and backrest for a decorative touch. Now, the piece adds unique extra seating in a whimsical style to the client's space.
