Distressed Taupe & Blue China Cabinet
This big, beautifully constructed Amish cabinet with blown glass doors was purchased by a newlywed couple, but they wanted to update it to match their existing dining room decor. The piece was painted with Amazon recycled paint - first in an off-white follow by a light taupe. The outside was lightly distressed revealing the off-white undercoat and original wood and giving the piece some extra depth. A light blue was added to the interior back wall to add a pop of color and contrast. Finally, these clients have a stylish place to store their china and other wedding gifts.
