Gray & Blue Hoosier Cabinet
A client bought this 1950's Hoosier cabinet knowing she could have it refinished to her liking to remove the existing beige & red crackle finish. Lots of sanding helped to smooth out this piece's surfaces and prep it for primer and an elegant new color scheme. The exterior was painted a cool gray - with a hint of lavender - while the upper interior got a bright, jewel-tone blue for a pop of color. Now, this classic piece complements the client's existing space while providing a place to store and display family mementos.
