Wooden Salad Bowls
This wooden salad bowl set was used by the client's mother when she was a child. The individual pieces had a flaking clear coat that the client didn't want to ingest. I lightly sanded all the bowls to remove the finish and applied a food safe oil on each. This gradually soaked in and after several coats, the wood was protected for daily use.
