Modern Ikat Upholstered Chairs
These previously channel back chairs were very dirty and dated but had some great potential. The chairs were completely stripped and re-built from the inside out. The woodwork got re-stained a very dark espresso color. The chairs were reupholstered, without the channels, in a soft, velvet-like slate blue. For a punch of color, the backs and as well as all accent piping were done in a modern, multi-color ikat print. Two throw pillows in the same print add a bit more color to the fronts and completes the overall look.
